Our ancestors created human like figures made out of wood, stone, & clay to represent the anito, the ancestors and spirits. Carved images were in homes and out in the fields, forests, and riverbanks.
These anito figures were called likha, tao-tao, larawan, and bata bata to name a few terms.
This likha figure is made out of polymer clay and is meant to represent the anito. Put it on your altar or somewhere in your home to give honor to them.
