CANDLE CARE

When you first light your candle, let it burn for 2-3 hours. This allows the wax to melt and reach the edges of your candle, creating a "pool". The reason why this is so important is because soy wax has a "memory" so to speak. This means it will remember the same diameter the wax melted when you first burned the candle. Do this to avoid tunneling.

To avoid tunneling in your candle as you continue to use it, make sure you burn the candle and create that wax pool to the edges of the candle jar before you extinguish it.

Trim your wicks to 1/4" of the wick before you use your candle. This ensures the flame will not rise too high and preventing soot buildup in the air. You will also have a much cleaner and longer burning candle.

Never let your candle burn unattended and never let it burn any longer than 4 hours at a time.

Keep your burning candles away from anything flammable. Also keep them out of reach from young children and pets.

Discard your candle once there is about a 1/2" of wax left in the container. You can reuse the jar though to live sustainably. Just wash the jar with soap and warm water to clear out any wax remaining in the jar and boil it in water.

Don't be alarmed for any imperfections in your candle such as wet spots or frosting that may develop as you burn your candle. This is due to chemical reactions from the soy wax with many factors from the environment to the fragrance and essential oils in the wax. This is all part of the package of having a 100% soy wax candle.

HERBAL BATH SALT CARE

Like all skin & bath products, check the ingredients listed in each listing to check for any allergies. Each bath salt is different and have different herbs & oils blended in. I provide every ingredient used in each listing so you can read them before you decide to purchase.

***There may be certain herbs used in the bath salts that may also not be suited for certain people. Some may not be suitable for pregnant women, those allergic to aspirin, or children under the age of 18 who have the chickenpox or flu like symptoms. Read any warnings listed that discuss these and adhere to them.

If there are any ingredients listed that you may be allergic to or it may not be suitable for you, do not use it. If you still want the bath salt without said ingredient, send a message through our contact form and I will personally respond back to address any concerns.

There are herbal oils in the herbal bath salts so make sure to throughly wash your tub after every use as these oils can cause slick surfaces.

To use, fill your bathtub and use some of the bath salt. Light a candle, maybe a Hiraya Botanicals candle, lay back, and relax.
